    WORLD OF MAKE BELIEVE: WIZARDS AND FAIRIES

    June 3 through 7
    Entering 2nd or 3rd grades

    Enter a world of make-believe and excitement as we encounter fairies and wizards in the Gardens! Campers will enjoy reenacting the adventures of popular wizard characters. While donning wizard hats, capes, and wands, children will experiment with scientific potions and even create some magical goodies to taste. Campers will create fairy houses and wizard dwellings for the Gardens and will uncloak many secrets during scavenger hunts throughout the week. Don’t let this amazing opportunity vanish!

  • SUPER HEROES

    June 10 through 14
    Entering Kindergarten or 1st grade

    Look up in the sky!
    It's a bird! It's a mammal! It's a reptile! It's an amphibian... it's...it's... just what is it?!?!

    Join us as we meet the superheroes of nature. We'll explore the powers of nature's super heroes and how they fight their villains. Campers will learn about the powers of Superwoman and Superman (mammals), Batman (bats), Hawkman (birds and raptors), Spiderman (spiders) and Aquaman (lake creatures) to name a few.

    AMERICAN GIRLS IN ALDRIDGE GARDENS

    June 10 through 14
    Entering 2nd or 3rd grades

    Campers will bring their American Girls for morning journeys throughout the Gardens. Together with our dolls, we will visit many different areas in the Gardens for daily arts, crafts, stories, songs, recipes and nature projects inspired by the lives of characters including Lanie, Kit, Molly and Julie.

  • MISSION CONTROL: SPACE WEEK

    June 10 through 14
    Entering 2nd or 3rd grades

    The fun during Space Week will be out of this world!
    Astro-campers will love the space-related experiments and crafts like building water rockets and spaceships. We'll make moon rock milkshakes, rock candy moon rocks, paper spaceships and UFOs. We'll decorate Frisbees with sparkling stars and glow-in-the-dark paint to launch into orbit! Campers will also make alien rock creatures and will enjoy “moon rock” hunts throughout the Gardens. One day will be reserved as a day to dress up like aliens or astronauts.

  • AWESOME ART & CREATIVE CRAFTS

    June 17 through 21
    Entering 2nd or 3rd grades

    This week is designed for kids who just can’t get enough of delving into arts and crafts. Using children’s literature, music and nature in the Gardens for inspiration, we’ll paint, draw, mold, design, build and imagine with an enormous array of arts and crafts materials for producing exciting creations. Bring your imagination and creativity for a week of pure fun!

    ALDRIDGE AGENTS

    June 24 through 28
    Entering Kindergarten through 1st grade

    Calling all curious kids! This camp is designed to provide playful, hands-on experiences with nature. Campers will use their senses and imagination to search for meat-eating plants, berries and plants that heal, as well as capture insects and have fun exploring with their natural curiosity. They'll learn through nature walks, crafts, stories and games. Parents, please read Last Child in the Woods by Richard Louv. This week is based on his philosophy of connecting children with nature.

  • Camps run from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Mid-morning snacks and juice will be provided.
    Cost is $90 for members at Hydrangea-level and above.
    Non-Member cost is $115
    All elementary teachers have State of Alabama Certification in Education.

  • Cancellation Policy:
    Refunds will be issued only if the session is filled or canceled by Aldridge Gardens. Transfers will require a $25 administrative fee. If your child is unable to attend camp due to medical reasons, you may receive a refund (minus a $25 handling fee) by providing a pediatrician’s note. Aldridge Gardens reserves the right to cancel a camp due to low enrollment, and you will receive a full refund.

    We are unable to refund for missed days of camp.
