Please join us as we welcome Maurice Cook to Aldridge Gardens. Propagator level members will enjoy their monthly wine reception, beginning at 5 p.m., while mixing and mingling with our special guest.

Maurice Cook’s colorful folk art paintings will be displayed inside the gallery through the months of June and July. His boldly colored paintings tell stories of simpler times and rural life in Alabama. Uniquely, his subjects don't have faces. He paints them without facial features to create images that can be universal. Cook explains, “I want all people to relate to my paintings. I try to tell the story with body language.”
