GO WILD WITH HYDRANGEAS

Speaker:
David Doggett

The program title is "Go Wild with Hydrangeas" and we will explore the many forms of our most widely dispersed native hydrangea: Hydrangea arborescens - also known as smooth hydrangea or wild hydrangea. We'll look at their landscape function in mass plantings as well as their use in dried flower arrangements. 'Annabelle' is far and away the most widely used variety of smooth hydrangea, but presenter David Doggett will show many of the lesser-known varieties plus new introductions.
