 ng tiles and grout to make colorful mosaic pots and garden art with broken
  vases or china plates.  Here is your chance to put them to good use while
  creating a playful sample mosaic garden pot as you learn.  In this worksh
 op\, you will master the basics of how to create mosaics in the pique assi
 ette style using pieces of broken pottery\, china\, glass\, buttons\, figu
 rines and jewelry to create a 8”x9” decorative flower pot\, the ultimate i
 n recycling.  In the first 3 hour session\, we will cover basic tile techn
 iques\, discuss project design and you will adhere tile to the pot.\nDurin
 g the second 3 hour session\, you will learn to grout and finish your proj
 ect.  Some tiles and materials will be provided\, but please bring your ow
 n broken plates\, tiles\, china\, buttons\, figurines and jewelry to perso
 nalize your piece.  Thrift stores are a good place to hunt for these treas
 ures!  Bring tile nippers if you have them.  Also\, you are welcome to bri
 ng a mid-morning snack on Saturday.\n
