  and vegetables (nothing “woody”) are used. The leaf including veins will 
 be broken up with a hammer\, leaving controlled imprints (“grass stains”) 
 on your fabric. You will also learn how to “set” the imprint permanently. 
 You may have seen this craft exhibited at the fall Kentuck Festivals. Brin
 g to class: leaves (with stems in water) you wish to pound\, large wooden 
 cutting board\, roll of wide masking tape\, a thin\, worn bath towel\, lig
 htweight 100% off-white cotton muslin fabric item(s) of your choice\, and 
 a small hammer. Bettye will have extra hammers\, plant material\, and with
  permission\, perhaps we may gather a few leaves from the Gardens. Bring y
 our friends\, supplies\, and have a good time! Teacher professional develo
