 bout Hydrangeas. Join Aldridge Gardens as we drive to Boaz\, Alabama and v
 isit the original farm of Eddie Aldridge and his cousin\, Arthur to learn 
 when to plant\, when to prune\, why some bear no blooms. All your question
 s will be answered today on a one-hour guided tour through “Snowflake Nurs
 ery” with Martha Aldridge.\n\nWhat a beautiful morning we’ve enjoyed.  We 
 board our motor coach and continue our journey to Albertville and the Jule
 s. J. Berta Vineyards located atop Sand Mountain. The vineyards are five a
 cres of vines on a 22 acre farm. The sandy soil and high elevation create 
 a unique southern climate for growing viniferous grapes. The Berta’s are d
 edicated to making quality wines from their Alabama estate grown wine grap
 es. Controlling this aspect of the wine process enables them to ensure qua
 lity at each process from vine to bottle. And of course\, a visit to a win
 ery would not be complete without tasting the many varieties that the owne
 rs Jules & Becky Berta offer.\n\nTime now for lunch at a little treasure c
 all The Lumpkin House.  Delicious food in a beautiful setting for a perfec
 t leisurely lunch.\n\nBefore we know it\, the day is coming to a close.  T
