 \, after considerable study and painstaking hours of practice.  She has ac
 hieved success as an artist\, a teacher\, and business owner and operator.
   In her forty years as a teacher\, Linda has instructed over a thousand c
 hildren and adults in oil and acrylic painting\, painting great emphasis u
 pon drawing\, composition\, perspective\, and color theory.  Recognized fo
 r her expertise in color theory\, Linda has conducted Color Clinics throug
 hout the country\, as well as numerous demonstrations and lectures for loc
 al artists.    \n\nLinda studied art at the Golden Palette Art Studio in A
 rlington\, Texas. She received personal instruction from notable artists s
 uch as Daniel Greene in New York\, NY where she studied Portraiture\; Wate
 rcolor under George Shook\; Oil and Acrylic Painting with Bea Biagiotti\; 
 Diane Wilson of New York\, and more Portraiture with John Howard Sandin in
  both New York and at Lake Como\, Italy.  Linda’'s work may be found in pu
 blic and private collections across the United States\, England\, and Germ
 any.  \n\nShe is known locally for her portraiture and has been commission
 ed to paint portraits of such notables as Paul “Bear” Bryant\, University 
 of Alabama head football coach.  Also noteworthy is Linda’'s completion of
  study with the AOR-CCA (Association of Restorers) for Oil Painting Conser
 vation and Restoration.  Linda is well known as one of country’'s few fine
  arts restorer for old paintings and photographs\, tackling restoration pr
 ojects that have been turned down by others in the business.  Yet she has 
 brought back to life hundred year old paintings with flaking and missing p
 aint\, tears and holes in canvas\, smoke\, water and fire damaged painting
 s and photos.  Needless to say\, she loves a good challenge and is an expe
