 on while mixing and mingling with artist Linda Vance.\n\nLinda Vance began
  her professional career as an artist in 1977\, after considerable study a
 nd painstaking hours of practice.  She has achieved success as an artist\,
  a teacher\, and business owner and operator.  In her forty years as a tea
 cher\, Linda has instructed over a thousand children and adults in oil and
  acrylic painting\, painting great emphasis upon drawing\, composition\, p
 erspective\, and color theory.  Recognized for her expertise in color theo
 ry\, Linda has conducted Color Clinics throughout the country\, as well as
  numerous demonstrations and lectures for local artists.    \n\nLinda stud
 ied art at the Golden Palette Art Studio in Arlington\, Texas. She receive
 d personal instruction from notable artists such as Daniel Greene in New Y
 ork\, NY where she studied Portraiture\; Watercolor under George Shook\; O
 il and Acrylic Painting with Bea Biagiotti\; Diane Wilson of New York\, an
 d more Portraiture with John Howard Sandin in both New York and at Lake Co
 mo\, Italy.  Linda’'s work may be found in public and private collections 
 across the United States\, England\, and Germany.  \n\nShe is known locall
 y for her portraiture and has been commissioned to paint portraits of such
  notables as Paul “Bear” Bryant\, University of Alabama head football coac
 h.  Also noteworthy is Linda’'s completion of study with the AOR-CCA (Asso
 ciation of Restorers) for Oil Painting Conservation and Restoration.  Lind
 a is well known as one of country’'s few fine arts restorer for old painti
 ngs and photographs\, tackling restoration projects that have been turned 
 down by others in the business.  Yet she has brought back to life hundred 
 year old paintings with flaking and missing paint\, tears and holes in can
 vas\, smoke\, water and fire damaged paintings and photos.  Needless to sa
