 while meeting the artist. \n\nChuck Jones is a native of Birmingham\, Alab
 ama\, but has lived most of his life in Atlanta\, GA. He earned a BFA Degr
 ee from The Atlanta College of Art in 1976 and studied under the late Bill
  Yeager\, Lee Manners\, and John Dillon.\n\nA lifelong student of watercol
 ors\, he is influenced by Winslow Homer\, Thomas Eakins\, Howard Pyle and 
 Andrew Wyeth. Chuck feels that his work now is dedicated to a vanishing wa
 y of life and that it should reflect a historical significance. He is a re
 sident artist at Tannehill State Park and has found inspiration from the r
 ural settings of the surrounding communities for subjects in his work.\n\n
 Chuck is a signature member of The Alabama Watercolor Society\, The Alabam
 a Plein Air Artists\, and The American Watercolor Society. His paintings a
 re in corporate and private collections throughout the United States.\n\nJ
 oin us for a reception to meet Chuck personally and hear about his art dir
 ectly from the artist. \n\n<b>This propagator member event will roll into 
 the general artists reception beginning at 6 p.m.</b>\n\n
