We currently open our gates daily at 8 a.m. and close them at 5 p.m., unless severe weather limits normal operations or special events require closing. If you need to communicate with us, please call 205.739.6558. Our business offices are closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Walking leashed dogs and fishing our lake are only allowed on Mondays through Thursdays. (Please clean up after your pet.) Fishing and dog walking are not allowed on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Everyone is invited to enjoy our walking trails but ask you not to run or jog on them. Our trails are very natural and not conducive to running.

The Gardens are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Day, and for special events.

Donation Refund Policy

We are grateful for your donation and support of our organization. If you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to our organization please contact us. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card.

Ongoing support is important to enabling projects to continue their work, so we encourage donors to continue to contribute to projects over time. But if you must cancel your recurring donation, please notify us.
