Do you know what chemicals are in the foods you and your family are eating? In this class, the instructor will help you learn a simple “down-home” approach to growing your family’s food organically. We will learn the ABC’s of how ANYONE can make compost, improve their soil’s condition in the Alabama tough clay, select the appropriate seeds and plants, plan and lay out the garden, and how to plant, water, and fertilize your garden. This is a class for all ages, and various levels of gardening expertise.
