Many of the things that we do today had their origin in Native American culture in Alabama. This fall, listen to whispers from the past and take a trip back in time to rediscover the culture and contributions of our prehistoric ancestors – Native Alabamians. Native American life will take shape for Garden visitors through demonstrations, displays and activities related to the people who shaped our early history. Children will be able to try their hands at games and tasks that occupied Alabama Indian children a thousand years ago. Feel the presence of these ancient ancestors as you participate in the Aldridge Gardens Native American Experience. There will also a variety of food and craft vendors available.
