The works of watercolor artist Loni Parker and the bronze sculptures of her late husband Cordray Parker will be exhibited in the Kay and Eddie Aldridge Art and Historical Museum. Cordray Parker, formerly an architect and teacher, was a talented sculptor who left a legacy of many area landmarks including those at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, Children’s Hospital, the Hugh Daniel Building, several on the UAB campus including those of Gene Bartow and Tinsley Harrison, the Episcopal Diocese and a couple of Episcopal churches plus one at Temple Emanu-El. Loni Parker is also a very talented artist whose aesthetic is primarily watercolor botanicals.
