Mah-jongg for Absolute Beginners with Cynde Morgan

Learn how to play American Mah-jongg! Space is limited to 8 per class, so please register. Supplies for learning are provided and books available for purchase.

The class will be broken into the following segments:
- Absolute beginners - Players with no exposure to the game.
- Beginners - Lessons will focus on the Charleston and selecting a hand.
- Experienced players can come for open play on Feb 1 & 15, March 1 & 15, April 19, May 17, and June 7 & 21 from 2 to 4 p.m. Bring a current NMJL card and a Mah-jongg set if you have one. No registration is necessary for open play.

This series of classes is free and will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on the following days:
February 1 – Absolute Beginners
February 15 - Beginners
March 1 and 15 – Absolute Beginners
April 19 - Beginners
May 17 – Absolute Beginners
June 7 – Absolute Beginners
June 21 - Beginners

These classes are free, but you will need to reserve your spot by using the "register now" button at the top of the page for each class. You can click within the list above to link to the event calendar for each month. The number of reservations is limited.
