Mary Segreto will lead workshop on decorative leaf casting in concrete.

Using large leaves, such as hostas, Mary will share her techniques for making a casting with concrete to form decorative bowls, plates, etc. Participants will make one large leaf casting that can be used for a dish, or 4 to 6 smaller leaf prints for coasters. Those in the class may bring leaves of their own choosing or find a pretty one from our stash. Leaves should be large, about the size of your palm or larger, smooth, and with obvious veining. Class members will make their casting on Thursday and pick up their dried art work on Friday. Please bring and wear a mask, due to the concrete dust.

The cost is $25 members for Aldridge Gardens members and $30 for nonmembers.
