Artists Reception at Aldridge Gardens
Thursday, July 17th, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Please join us for a reception in honor of Sam and Amy Collins, whose work will be on display in our gallery through September 5th.

Over the past 30 years, Sam and Amy have worked together as Medical Illustrators, creating images for healthcare professionals, publishers, advertising agencies, medical product companies, biomedical engineers and attorneys. But as artists, their personal styles are quite different. Amy likes to work in oils and let her work have "a looseness and spontaneity" not found in her medical illustration work. In contrast, Sam likes to create digital art "that is reminiscent of days spent on family road trips when I was a kid, combining my interest in pop art with symbols of American culture."
