Would you like to transform your house into a “Southern Living Holiday Home” for the holiday season this year? Come in for a morning of hands-on decorating at the Gardens, and learn tips and tricks to reproduce the magical looks in your own home for the holidays. Carol will select areas in Aldridge House and out in the Gardens, and demonstrate how to decorate mantels, mailboxes, lamp posts and entry halls using Alabama greens such as yew, magnolia, holly, nandina, mixed with pine cones and berries.

Bring gloves, clippers, scissors and cameras and you’ll be able to join the fun and learn new techniques. Bring a roll of your favorite ribbon and Carol will help you get started on making bows and suggest appropriate containers. Participants will receive a discount at Roots, our Garden and Gift Shop on the day of class.
