Learn how a tiny egg, the size of a grain of sand, transforms into a beautiful, colorful butterfly. Mike Howell, PhD, author, biologist and Professor Emeritus at Samford University will teach us about the life cycle of butterflies in our area.

Each family that registers for this Family Nature Program will receive a butterfly host plant. Plant in a sunny spot, then wait to see if a butterfly lays eggs that transform into caterpillars.
