Michael Glaser is a versatile and extremely musical drummer. A first-call drummer in the Birmingham music community, Michael is an integral part of a diverse group of bands and sounds ranging from country and pop to jazz. The Reputable Quintet offers Michael the chance to celebrate some of his favorite jazz styles, sounds, composers and performers. The quintet’s focus is on jazz that is both compositionally stimulating and super-swinging. Joining Michael are Rob Alley on trumpet, Gary Wheat on tenor sax, Pedro Mayor on piano and Chris Kozak on bass. They love music that has as much craft as it does heart and soul.
