City of Hoover’s 27th Annual Arbor Day Celebration
Join us for an Arbor Day extravaganza hosted by the Beautification Board! The city of Hoover's 27th Annual Arbor Day Celebration will take place on Saturday, March 7 from 8-11 a.m. at Aldridge Gardens.
Attendees will get to enjoy the beauty of Aldridge Gardens with free trees, enlightening educational exhibitors, delightful kids' activities and scrumptious food from a local food truck. Let's cultivate a greener, vibrant community together!
Trees will be given away courtesy of the Hoover Parks and Recreation Foundation. These trees have all been grown in three-gallon-size pots and currently range in a height of 3-6 feet. Be sure to come early as they will only be available while supplies last. There is a limit of one tree per household.

- Persimmon
- Bald Cypress
- Ginkgo Biloba
- Shoal Creek Chaste
- Longleaf Pine
- Pawpaw
- Bur Oak
- Dwarf Chinquapin Oak
Free shuttle service available from the edge of the Trader Joe’s parking lot in Hoover (former Bed, Bath, and Beyond location). Pickup and drop-off will be close to Lorna Road.
